One year later, Jim and Amy reunite to continue working on Meadows of Stone in Wells, B.C. on February 12, 2023. This time, Amy had a finished first draft and Jim had completed the score! Thanks to another grant from the Sunset Theatre and their Exploration Series, Amy and Jim could work together, solidly focused on this work for 10 days. Photo by Dirk Van Stralen.

Meadows of Stone hit the stage of the Sunset Theatre in Wells, B.C. for a short run in June 2024. Thanks to Dirk for his focused and generous approach in directing this workshop production. Here are some images from our recent photo shoot — and our new revisioning for Meadows of Stone as a three-hander. Now joining the show is Brendan Bailey (as Captain Arnott) playing opposite Amy as Vallance Maguire. This leaves Jim free to accompany the show.
There is camaraderie, laughter, love and loss, and through it all, the music that draws them together.
